ABC Parts International is a distributor of auto body parts in the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut area. We sell aftermarket parts such as hoods, fenders, bumpers, headlights, grilles, radiators, condensers, etc. We are seeking a Class C driver to deliver auto parts to auto service center locally. This is a great entry level role with growth potential with our company. This is a fulltime role with benefits.

***You will be provided with a van after your training. Once training is complete, you must be able to park the work van at home in a safe area.***

*Very Important Information if you are applying for this job*

  • A clean license is required for at least the past 42 months, we run an MVR. (Maximum 3 pts)
  • Must have available parking space for company vehicle.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work well under pressure and follow procedures.
  • Ability to work in State Island.
  • Ability to drive a full-size Ford, Chevy or Nissan Van.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and write legibly.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Have a working smart phone.
  • Background check
  • Vehicle provided
  • Must be trustworthy

· No special Driver License required.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver customer order in a timely fashion.
  • Accurately verifying parts against customer orders.
  • Unload parts and confirm that the correct parts are delivered as ordered.
  • Collecting cash and check payments from customers.
  • Processing customer returns and write the RGA’s neatly and accurately.
  • Drive in a safe manner and follow all company driving policies including state laws.
  • Follow all company policies regarding paperwork and monies.
  • Weekly pre-trip inspection must be performed every Monday and the van kept clean and free of trash and food.
  • Working hours are from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. (No Weekends)
  • Appearance and demeanor must be professional when interacting with customers.
  • Overtime offered as need.
