Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Group Therapist to join our team You will be responsible for implementing effective treatment plans to clients in an individual or group setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Counsel and advise individuals or groups with substance abuse problems
  • Establish treatment goals and milestones with clients
  • Prepare progress reports and letters for relevant parties
  • Facilitate strong topics to clients in a group setting
  • Monitor and document group clients post session
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in counseling, social work, or other related fields
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Has an active BBS# and is either an AMFT, ACSW, APCC or higher
  • Experience in conflict resolution
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Kipu experience, training is provided

Schedule: The Group Therapist is expected to facilitate 4 groups a day Monday-Friday, with roughly 20 hours a week. Facility hours are between the hours of 9am-6pm. 

Starting Period: Immediate availability is highly preferred.
