**Position Overview:**

Florida Merchant Services is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled In-House Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

 

**Responsibilities:**

- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.

- Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely payments of bills and invoices.

- Prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and tax preparation.

- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or potential issues.

-ACH Collections

 

 

**Requirements:**

- Proven work experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).

- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

- Certification (e.g., CPB, CB) is a plus.
