Residential AVL Technician

The Residential AV technician will be responsible for all aspects of installing high-end residential electronics and automation systems at the client's job site - Including installation, set-up, testing, programming (preferred, but will train the right candidate), and servicing. The AV Technician will also run, terminate, and test low voltage wiring in new and existing /remodeling projects. The AV Technician will report directly to the Project Managers.Technicians will also perform basic network configurations, install and dress equipment racks, and maintain a clean and orderly work area while at the client's job site
Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced AV technician with the following abilities:
- Installation of electronic components and automation systems, media rooms, dressing and wire management of A/V racks,etc.
- Savant, Lutron, and other control system programming and networking experience a big plus+
- Mounting of TVs, projectors, and projector screens
- Cutting in and installation of in-ceiling and in-wall architectural speakers and in-wall touch screens
- Work safely on ladders and scaffolding
- Low voltage pre-wiring of new construction homes and retro-fit wiring
- Knowledge of low-voltage cabling and termination standards
- Reading of plans and wiring diagrams
- Understanding of signal flow and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of 70V and commercial systems a plus +
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- An eagerness to learn and work hard as part of a growing team is required.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently, and be accountable for work quality
- Ability to work well with others, have a customer service-oriented mindset, and strong work ethic.
- We require a clean driving record, background check, and drug test.
- Candidates must have reliable transportation, basic tools for working with low voltage equipment
