Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial concepts and possesses technical accounting skills.

Duties:

- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and preparing financial statements

- Complete weekly cashflow

-Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles and regulations

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

- Prepare financial reports for management review

- Conduct monthly inventories with onsite person

- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

- Utilize accounting software, such as Quickbooks Online, to streamline processes

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles

- Familiarity with technical accounting practices, including double-entry bookkeeping

- Experience with governmental accounting is a plus

- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Quicken or similar programs

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
