We have an opening for a Remote Medical Director – Oncology Certified with a Large Managed Care Organization in NJ The Medical Director – Oncology Certified will focus on identifying opportunities to improve clinical outcomes, care efficiency, and patient experience while reducing operational costs. The Medical Director – Oncology Certified will collaborate with leaders to enhance provider relationships, educate them on best practices, and ensure quality care. The Medical Director – Oncology Certified will look at data trends and data interpretation around utilization, cost and quality reports.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR MEDICAL DIRECTOR – ONCOLOGIST :

  • Board certified by a specialty recognized by the AOA or ABMS
  • Active Unrestricted MD or DO License Required
    • NJ License Required
  • 5+ years of clinical experience with managing & Identifying data/trends
  • Utilization management experience focusing on Oncology cases
  • Requires some knowledge of health insurance payer business including business operations.
     

 

HOURS OF THIS POSITION FOR MEDICAL DIRECTOR – ONCOLOGIST :

  • Monday- Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm but will need flexibility

 

SALARY FOR MEDICAL DIRECTOR – ONCOLOGIST :

  • Starts at $207,000K - $250,000  (depending on experience it can increase) +  Up to 20% bonus

 

BENEFITS FOR MEDICAL DIRECTOR – ONCOLOGIST :

  • Medical, dental and vision plans
  • 401K with 3% company match (fully vested after 3 years)
  • Company will also contribute an additional 4% into an employee’s Savings and Investment Plan
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • 29 Days of PTO (Starting Jan. 1st) | PTO is pro-rated depending on when they start in the year
  • 12 paid holidays
