Position Summary:
BaSix Knowledge Academy is looking to hire a part-time Math Teacher. This position will teach small groups of high school students. Candidate must be local and should be open to teaching in person (8-12 hours weekly: Tuesday thru Thursday, 9 a.m. - 12 noon). Applicant must be able to meet these hours on site.
Essential Duties:
? Teaches skills and knowledge utilizing curriculum designated by BaSix Knowledge Academy and other appropriate learning activities.
? Adapts the curriculum to provide small group instruction to meet the needs of the students.
? Evaluates academic growth of students, prepares grade reports, and keeps appropriate records
to include attendance reports, checklists, and other recordkeeping activities as necessary.
Qualifications:
? Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Math (or equivalent)
? Minimum of 2 years teaching experience working with high school students or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
? Bilingual
? Georgia Certification with minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
