Your Role:
As a Plumbing Foreman, you’ll be at the forefront of each project and oversee all aspects of the plumbing installations. Your leadership will drive productivity to ensure safety compliance and uphold our commitment to superior workmanship.
Responsibilities include the following:
¨ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material
¨ Perform layout for underground pipe, suspended pipe, and fixtures
¨ Able to read and understand bulletins, regulations, rule books, and manufacturer manuals
¨ Consistent communication with field and office personnel
¨ Knowledge of local and state regulatory plumbing codes and requirements
¨ Able to order material from suppliers or provide the office with a material list
¨ Write-up work tickets, RFI's, and all needed paperwork
¨ Conduct weekly tailgate meetings, lead, train, and motivate Journeymen and Apprentices
¨ Perform hands-on plumbing work as needed demonstrating expertise and setting a high standard
¨ Organization with paperwork, jobs, and schedules to manage/run multiple projects simultaneously
¨ Respond to emergency calls as needed
¨ Inspect jobs upon completion for zero punch-list and ensure areas are clean and arranged
¨ Operate lifts, excavators, and or other equipment needed
Requirements:
Requires effective oral and written communication skills, coordination of work, and excellent interpersonal skills. Memorized knowledge of the California plumbing codes. Proven supervisor experience. Expert with operating power tools such as grinders and drills. Mathematical calculations and diagnostic abilities. Must know safety procedures. Analytical ability is required to find solutions to various problems and prioritize work. Procurement of equipment supplies and materials. We are non-union.
Schedule:
M-F, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Spanish/English Available
We work in, Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, and San Diego County.
