Roofing Foreman Job Summary

We are looking for a Roofing Foreman to join our construction team. Your primary function in this job is to manage a crew of roof mechanics and laborers, ensuring they complete each project safely and on time. You will track and report on their progress to our construction management team and our clients throughout the project. Our ideal candidate has experience installing and repairing low slope roofs using single-ply, modified bitumen, asphalt shingles, and specialty products such as tile and slate.

This is a working Foreman position, you will be working side by side with the roofing crew to ensure projects are completed per specifications.

Roofing Foreman Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage a crew of roof mechanics and laborers throughout installation, repair, or removal projects
• Supervise equipment use
• Track and report progress
• Ensure project specifications are followed
• Submit employee timesheets
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations

Roofing Foreman Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Two or more years of construction experience, preferably in a supervisory role or as a roof mechanic
• Familiar with low slope roof installations and repairs
• Bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish preferred)
• Valid driver's license
• Physical stamina
• Organizational and time management skills
