Mobile Concepts Incorporated is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and responsible individual to join our Hesperia, California team.
Position Summary
The Shop/Helper cleaner will be responsible for various tasks while maintaining a clean, efficient shop and rental fleet. This position requires an organized, independent, and detail-oriented individual who can safely work with heavy-duty cleaning products. The Shop/Helper cleaner will collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist in completing key projects, contributing to the team's overall success.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Wash and thoroughly clean all equipment and trailers to meet health code regulations and standards.
- Clean and maintain exterior shop areas (trailer holding yard, pallet/ holding area).
- Keep lots clean of debris and weeds, and keep discarded pallets organized and stacked neatly.
- Maintain a clean and orderly inventory of supplies throughout the shops.
- Sweep and clean floors to help prevent slips, trips, and falls
- Clean and maintain shop vehicles. Report equipment condition, check oil, fuel levels, tire conditions/air pressure, and water levels in batteries of electric equipment
- Clean filters on shop A/C units
- Assist as a heavy equipment and trailer spotter when these are being moved around the building.
- Pick up trash & debris in all areas.
- Other duties assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry over 50lbs
- Work independently
Physical demands and work environment
The physical demands include stepping in/out of trailers, climbing up/down ladders, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, cleaning in tight spaces, pushing, pulling, carrying up to 50 lbs, scrubbing/scrapping, using basic hand tools, a power washer, and chemicals. The work is warehouse/outside work with fluctuating temperatures and exposure to the elements. The work environment can be loud, wet, cold, hot, dusty, greasy, dirty, slippery, etc.
