Manager the hard lines departments for Randall Lumber & Hardware, Inc.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
*Lead & manage employees including hiring, training and development
*Manage P&L performance
*Manage inventory and pricing
*Manage vendor and customer relations, developing new business strategic and market planning, forecasting and budgeting

Minor Duties and Responsibilities
*Employee scheduling (wage planning , open/close scheduling)
*Stocking and housekeeping
*Promote positive company image
*Assist sales staff to meet customer needs
*Conduct regular competitive analysis
*Ensure record keeping is complete, timely and accurate
*Participate in trade organizations and local forums
*Manage inventory levels commensurate with demand and supply constraints

Qualifications for the job

Bachelor's degree in business (preferred) or equivalent experience (5 years in management position with similar responsibilities).

Ability to work with people, engaging in a positive and respectful manner and managing engagement for as positive outcome or resolution as possible.

Ability to lift 40libs and the ability to physically move throughout the Hardware Store facility.
