Full Charge Bookkeeper

Pocono Pools is seeking a Full Time / Full Charge Bookkeeper in our Cresco PA office.  Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding experience? We have what you’re looking for

Responsibilities:

·         Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.

·         Maintains system to account for financial transactions by maintaining a chart of accounts, and basic accounting policies and procedures.

·         Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions and balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.

·         Maintains and balances general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries and reconciling entries.

·         Maintains historical records by filing documents.

·         Prepares customer invoices, statements and maintains Account Receivables and collections as necessary.

·         Data entry and payment of Accounts Payables.

·         Prepares payroll and related government filings.

·         Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by evaluating requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.

Qualifications / Skills:

·         Understanding of Basic Accounting Principals

·         Attention to Detail

·         Confidentiality

·         Experience with Sage Accounting system preferred but not required

·         Previous bookkeeping experience preferred

·         Experience in working with multiple companies

Salary:

·         40 Hour work week

·         Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
