About Us: The Crossroads Guitars and Art is an arts experience store located in Gilbertsville, PA. Our state of the art facility functions as an art gallery, musical instrument and accessories store, workshop space, performance venue, and music school. We are committed to providing top-notch music education and fostering a creative and collaborative environment for our students. Our music lesson program covers a diverse range of instruments and styles, catering to both beginners and more advanced players. We are currently seeking passionate and skilled music teachers to join our team and inspire the next generation of musicians.

Position Overview: As a Private Lesson Instructor, you will teach music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, building a fun but rigorous customized experience based on their skills and interest. Your expertise, dedication, and enthusiasm will contribute to our students' musical growth and overall learning experience. This is a part-time employee position with the potential for advancement within our expanding music education program.

Responsibilities:
Provide private music lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
Create personalized lesson plans that cater to each students needs and goals.
Instruct students on proper technique, theory, reading, and musicality.
Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages creativity and musical exploration.
Communicate effectively with students and their families to plan and track practice and address any concerns.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to contribute to the overall success of our music lesson program.
Participate in recitals, performances, and special events at The Crossroads: Guitars and Art.
Maintain a neat and organized teaching space.

Qualifications:


Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments.
Strong knowledge of music theory, technique, and pedagogy.
Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with students of all ages.
Enthusiasm for music education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience.
Reliable, punctual, and organized.

Benefits:


Starting compensation of $25 per hour.
As this is an employee position, we will contribute mandated taxes and provide a 3% IRA match, along with other applicable benefits.
