Hiring a teacher assistant. Looking for a long term teacher, serious candidates only.

Hours: 30-40 hours

Instructor must:

state mandated 45 hrs. training or will to get training
Having a CDA certification or in the process of completing is a plus.

*CDA (Child Development Associates) or Florida Child Care Professional Certificate (FCCPC)
*An Associate's Degree or higher in Child Development; or
*An Associate's Degree or higher in an unrelated field, with at least 6 credit hours in early childhood education or child development, and at least 480 hours of experience in teaching or providing childcare services for children any age from birth to 8 years of age; or
*A Bachelor's Degree or higher in early childhood education, prekindergarten or primary education, preschool education, or family and consumer science; or
*A Bachelor's Degree in elementary education, if the pre-k instructor has been certified to teach children any age from birth through 6th grade, with a Florida Educator's Certificate, regardless whether the certificate is current or not, and has not had this educator certificate suspended or revoked.

Teachers need to be able to...

Create developmentally appropriate lesson plans
Be caring, compassionate and love what they do
Proper supervision and follow all licensing guidelines and implement all company standards.
Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents.
Maintain a rich interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
Looking for a teacher that is passionate about the growth and development of children.

We are interested in applicants that have:
Experience leading a classroom and creating state standard lesson plans
Experience working in a licensed childcare facility preferred
Degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA or completed
45 hours state training mandate with DCF
Impeccable references and a proven track record of working with children
The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements
Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work is a must
