Job DescriptionJob Description

Garden center seeks inventory clerk to handle receiving duties so that invoices, shipments, and all merchandise are accounted for in the computer. Make stocking copies, stickers for merchandise, and handle credits and returns on merchandise. Maintain accurate physical inventory of merchandise including physical counts and adjustments in POS inventory control. Create and manage inventory SKUs and barcodes. Determine and maintain price points and gross margins. Assist buyers to maintain want lists, special orders, coordinate incoming orders and delivery to the customer.

Must have strong communication skills, 10 key, data entry, and computer experience to include proprietary software, Excel, and Word. Plant knowledge or garden center inventory experience is very helpful. Retail experience is a must. Located in Poway.
