Job Details

Three Rivers Medical Associate is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lab Manager to join our team in the medical industry. As a Lab Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our clinical laboratory. You will work with a team of medical technologists and phlebotomist to ensure that all laboratory tests are conducted accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise laboratory staff, including medical technologists and clinical laboratory phlebotomists
  • Ensure that all laboratory tests are conducted accurately and efficiently
  • Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures in compliance with CLIA regulations
  • Ensure that all laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated according to manufacturer specifications
  • Monitor laboratory inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Oversee the quality control program and ensure that all laboratory results are accurate and reliable
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new laboratory tests
  • Ensure that all laboratory staff are trained and competent in their job duties
  • Work with other departments to ensure that laboratory test results are communicated in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records


Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
  • ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification required
  • 5+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Strong knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, molecular, and microbiology
  • Experience with Ortho and Sysmex laboratory equipment
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of CLIA regulations and laboratory accreditation requirements
