DUTIES:

  • Manage and supervise arcade staff including, revenue, safety, game operations, financial, guest services, inventory controls and merchandising.
  • Maintain a close liaison at all times with company and site management team communicating information/changes in procedure as and when required.
  • Hiring, training, and developing high-performing staff teams, creating work schedules, and ensuring health and safety regulations are carried out.
  • Ensuring enjoyment of guests, managing shifts, and making sure the business is running at peak performance at all times.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to boost employee morale and engagement
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members, supporting their growth and career progression
  • Recognize and reward outstanding performance, fostering a culture of appreciation and motivation
  • Encourage open and transparent communication across all levels of the organization
  • Lead by example in upholding our company values and promoting a strong work ethic.
  • Perform regular inspections, ensuring interior/exterior standards are maintained, where necessary advising management on remedial action or coordinating with park management as needed.
  • Review arcade and machine performance on a daily basis with particular emphasis on security breaches while maintaining good machine housekeeping; making sure all cranes, pushers etc. are operating effectively.
  • Perform all tasks related to opening and closing of establishment.
  • Manage callouts to ensure proper scheduling coverage, filling in as necessary when there are lapses in coverage.
  • Schedule and run weekly management meetings and monthly staff meetings to ensure high standards of service and productivity.
  • Schedule and hold interviews, as well as assist other managers with hiring decisions.
  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices, while being a stellar example for all staff.
  • Create weekly staff schedules to ensure coverage.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are being followed by monitoring checklists and compliance.
  • Responsible for cleanliness of the entire establishment and adherence to cleaning tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in either/arcade games, bowling, family entertainment center, or movie theater operations or other directly related experience helpful
  • Technical and detail-oriented management skills
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess a strong sense of customer service and interpersonal skills to include high integrity and respect for everyone.
  • Must demonstrate solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
  • Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency as a self-starter.
  • Available to work flexible schedules and ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends and holidays.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces. The employee is required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times. In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms. Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
