Qualifications:

  • Proven years of experience
  • Must have US Technologist Licensure and updated
  • Previous job references

Responsibilities:

  • Performing Ultrasound Exams: Conducting ultrasound examinations on patients as prescribed by physicians or other healthcare providers. Operating ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images of the specified body parts or organs.
  • Patient Interaction: Communicating with patients to explain the procedure, address concerns, and ensure their comfort during the examination. Obtaining relevant medical history and information to assist in the diagnostic process.
  • Mobility: Traveling to various healthcare facilities, clinics, or patients' homes to perform mobile ultrasound services. This may involve working in different locations on a regular basis.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment to guarantee accurate and reliable imaging results. Troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic repairs or reporting technical problems to appropriate personnel.
  • Adherence to Protocols and Standards: Established protocols and guidelines for ultrasound procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy in diagnostic imaging. Adhering to safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
  • Documentation: Recording and documenting the ultrasound findings, measurements, and other relevant information in patient records or information systems.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound images and provide diagnostic information. Discussing findings with medical staff to assist in patient care decisions.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and institutional policies related to patient care and data security.
  • Customer Service: Providing a high level of customer service by addressing patient concerns, answering questions, and maintaining a professional and compassionate approach.
