MEP Value Engineering Inc’s Revit Design Engineer is critical in ensuring that mechanical systems are designed, implemented, and maintained in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner.

Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports to convey HVAC design intent and requirements accurately.

1. Begin by creating or importing the BIM models of various building systems into our Revit project. This typically includes architectural, structural, and MEP models. To streamline the clash detection process, it's essential to organize models and model groups logically. This may involve grouping elements based on discipline (e.g., HVAC, plumbing) or specific components (e.g., ductwork, pipes).

2. MEP Value Engineering Inc’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing the use of BIM technology and processes throughout the project lifecycle. The primary goal is to enhance project efficiency, collaboration, and quality by utilizing BIM tools and methodologies.

You will assist our team of experienced engineers by Managing BIM models and data, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and integrity. We develop BIM content standards and naming conventions. We coordinate and merge multiple discipline-specific models into a collaborative project model. We facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration by establishing effective communication channels.

Requirements:

· Knowledge of construction processes and design coordination.

· Experience with collaborative BIM platforms and cloud-based solutions.

· Strong Revit and Autocad Design Skills and ability to set up projects in AutoDesk Construction Cloud.

· Proven ability to set up and manage Revit Design Project Files.

- including loading families, import AutoCAD files, manage project templates.

· Professional certifications related to BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) are advantageous.
