Job DescriptionJob Description

Our growing veterinary practice is seeking an experienced, dependable, and qualified Veterinary Assistant. Duties include assisting the veterinarian during patient exams, performing nail trims, cleaning and stocking rooms and the treatment area, cover receptionist duties when needed and other Assistant related tasks. The successful candidate will be prepared to work with dogs & cats of all sizes and temperaments.

Responsibilities:

  • Check in appointments, take histories from pet parents, and prepare vaccinations
  • Keep client/patient records up-to-date
  • Run lab testing
  • Interact with clients and their pets in ways that build trust and confidence in the client-caregiver relationship.
  • Help with inventory management
