Summary:

  • Multiax Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced and experienced service technician to join the technical support team. The team member plays a critical role in ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our machinery for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, set-up and configure multi-axis machining systems at client locations, perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability.

  • On-site support: Coordinate and schedule on-site visits to client facilities for complex technical support and maintenance.

  • Conduct thorough inspections, repairs, and adjustments to CNC machines to address issues efficiently.

  • Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for clients on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CNC machining systems. Develop comprehensive training materials and documentation.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities and provide detailed reports to clients and internal teams.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest advancements in CNC technology, software updates, and industry best practices.

  • Collaboration: Communicate extensively with internal teams to enhance technical support processes and optimize customer satisfaction.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers.

Must Haves:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to convey technical concepts effectively.

  • Customer focused mindset with a passion for delivering high quality technical support and building lasting relationships.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site support and customer visits.

  • Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving common technical issues efficiently.

  • Proficiency in CNC programming, operation, and troubleshooting

  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNS Machine controls (e.g., OSAI, Fanuc, Siemens, Hass).

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in Engineering, Operations, or related field.

  • Associate degree or equivalent technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Service Technician or CNC machining systems in a manufacturing or machining environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual Dexterity

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
