Talento Search Group has an opening for an Electrical Maintenance Technician in the Danville, Virginia area.  This is a direct hire position.  The starting pay range is $25 - $30 per hour depending on level of experience.

Position Summary:

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing manufacturing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and making repairs to all electrical equipment and services within the manufacturing facility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with electrical manufacturing equipment to include PLCs to maintain production requirements,
  • Ability to troubleshoot pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Recommend equipment and process improvements
  • Ensure that all Safety/LOTO procedures/codes are adhered to
  • Assist with equipment installations at the primary and secondary manufacturing facility

Experience Needed:

  • HS-Diploma or Equivalent - Associate in Industrial Maintenance or similar preferred
  • Minimum 3 years current experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment 
  • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting with Ladder Logic, RSLogix or similar
