Who we are looking for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical interface with customers 
  • PCB Review 
  • Quality Engineering 
  • Components Engineering 
  • Design for Test 
  • Troubleshooting 
  • Setting up new Tests 
  • Design Test Fixtures 
  • Creating assembly drawings 
  • Data prep/ test results for customers 
  • Absorbing customer documentation 

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree or associate in engineering. Electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, or a related field preferred (on the job experience also accepted).
  • Experience:
    • At least 2 years with RF experience including gain/loss measurements, Frequency Response, VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio), Inter-Modulation Distortion, and output power.
    • At least 2 years troubleshooting
    • PCB design or familiarity with PCB review
  • Skills:
    • Experience with PCB electrical test and troubleshooting techniques to component level. Knowledge of microprocessor programming using various programming platforms (i.e. Xilinx, MPLAB, ST Micro, etc.) 
    • Familiar with various test equipment including DVMs, oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum analyzers, and Signal generators, to perform functional tests and troubleshooting. 
    • Ability to supervise Test Technicians and assist in new test setups as well as Test procedure generation.
