Job Title: Underground Utility Crew

Location: Wilson County, TX and surrounding areas

Wiatrek’s Services is currently seeking a skilled Underground Utility Crew Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee a utility crew in the Wilson County area, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.

Responsibilities:

1.⁠ ⁠Lead and supervise a crew of utility workers, including equipment operators, pipe layers and laborers, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

2.⁠ ⁠Interpret construction plans and blueprints to effectively coordinate crew activities and ensure adherence to project specifications.

3.⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment for all crew members and the public.

4.⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance.

5.⁠ ⁠Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure all tools and machinery are in proper working condition.

6.⁠ ⁠Promote a positive work environment and foster teamwork among crew members to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

1.⁠ ⁠Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

2.⁠ ⁠Minimum of 3 years of experience in water and installation, with previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.

3.⁠ ⁠Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints accurately.

4.⁠ ⁠Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

5.⁠ ⁠Knowledge of underground utility construction methods, materials, and equipment.

6.⁠ ⁠Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, such as excavators, backhoes, and trenchers.

7.⁠ ⁠Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

8.⁠ ⁠Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

9.⁠ ⁠Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
