About the Accountant position

We are looking for a skilled Accountant that can perform Bookkeeper related duties. This will include accounting services and write-up throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

·  Perform all accounting operations and ensure their compatibility with accounting principles and regulations

·  Calculate taxes and create tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statements and similar documentation

·  Prepare timely and accurate financial statements

·  Perform month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including:

o 941s

o 1099s & W-2s client processing

·  Perform payroll processing and payroll tax returns

·  Perform data entry, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, sales tax/business tax & license preparation, monthly bookkeeping and GL review

·  Keep client information confidential

Qualifications:

·  3+ years' experience of Accounting, Bookkeeper, and/or Tax role

·  Excellent knowledge of accounting software

o QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Accounting CS,

·  Strong computation skills with close attention to detail

·  Productivity and confidentiality

·  Ability to prioritize and multitask
