We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and planning, with a focus on individual and business taxes. The Tax Associate will work closely with clients to gather necessary information, prepare tax returns, and assist with tax planning strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare individual, business, and trust tax returns
  • Conduct tax research and analysis
  • Assist clients with tax planning and compliance
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax information
  • Assist with special tax projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA certification or working towards CPA certification or EA certification preferred
  • 1-3 years of tax preparation experience
  • Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software
