Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining our reputation for excellence by conducting thorough inspections, implementing quality control measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address any quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections of finished products to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct dimensional measurements using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Inspect raw materials and components to identify any defects or discrepancies.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality control procedures and regulations.
- Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed reports.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and other departments to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures, work instructions, and training programs.
- Provide support during customer audits and inspections, addressing any quality-related inquiries or concerns.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive, medical, or electronics industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, practices, and tools such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities accurately.
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate and interact with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with quality assurance software and systems is a plus.
- Willingness to undergo training and pursue professional development opportunities in quality assurance and related fields.
