Summary

We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our collaborative team of legal professionals. As an associate, you will work closely with our other talented attorneys and staff, providing support throughout the journey of a case file. This is an entry level position, and training and mentorship will be provided at every step of the process. Our aim is to provide a supportive atmosphere where we help you develop the skills you need to be an effective attorney. We do not take a one size fits all approach to any aspect of our firm. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support to clients
  • Collaborate and assist other attorneys to achieve client’s goals
  • Maintain client relationships
  • Prepare legal reports and documents
  • Meet legal deadlines
  • Interact with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert affidavits
  • Interact with fact witnesses to gain critical information
  • Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and other court appearances
  • Work closely and respectfully with firm staff

Qualifications

  • Law degree from a fully accredited law school
  • An active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association
  • Some prior law firm experience is preferred, but not required
  • Bilingual – fluent in speaking and writing in preferably Spanish, but will consider Vietnamese and other languages that match our client’s needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong interest in contract law, litigation and helping people
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
  • Proficient computer, writing and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to work remotely and in Orlando office Tuesdays through Thursdays, and Monday and Fridays in an optional remote capacity
