Warehouse Order Picker

We are seeking a Warehouse Shipping and Packing Associate to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently and accurately pack and ship customer orders. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that orders are processed and shipped in a timely manner, meeting our customers' expectations for quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Packing:

   • Carefully and accurately pick items from the inventory for customer orders.
   • Safely package items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
   • Verify the accuracy of orders to ensure the correct items are included.
   • Organize and label packages with shipping information and tracking numbers.

2. Shipping:

   • Utilize shipping software and equipment to generate shipping labels.
   • Arrange pickups and deliveries with shipping carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS).
   • Maintain an organized shipping area with necessary supplies and shipping materials.
   • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and requirements.

3. Quality Control:

   • Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
   • Identify and report any damaged or defective products.
   • Address any order discrepancies or issues promptly and accurately
     • Adhere to safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the safe use of warehouse equipment.
     • Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor.

4. Team Collaboration:

   • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve shipping and packing goals.
   • Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve order-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
