Dynamic, well established (over 30 years), leading Plastic Manufacturing company in the Northwest Houston area seeks a self-motivated Marketing Associate to join and support our Sales & Marketing team. The successful candidate will have a history of 3 plus years in a similar role in a business-to-business marketing within the manufacturing industry.

The candidate must be a self-starter and have a mature professional attitude. He/She will be located in the Houston area and will work out of the company office. The successful candidate will be supported by a dynamic team and will be responsible for the design and implementation of the marketing initiative programs for this organization. This position reports directly to the Director of marketing & Business Development.

To be chosen for this role, you must have solid prior work experience in business to business marketing. Effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are both important keys to success in this role. The position is in Houston, Texas and there is no relocation assistance. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities include:

· Design and manage Advertising campaigns.

· Collect data on campaign results.

· Conduct market research to identify new opportunities.

· Research new marketing trends.

· Gather competitive intelligence (i.e., documenting what competitors are doing to promote their products on various channels).

· Gather and analyze consumer behavior data (e.g., web traffic and rankings) Help run social media accounts by creating content or responding to users’ comments and messages.

· Assist with organizing promotional events.

· Contribute to the design and content creation for marketing assets, including case studies, blog posts, videos, PowerPoint decks, etc.

· Keep organized records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns.

· Prepare regular sales forecasting reports.

· Maintain customer relations.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • The design and execution of our advertising campaigns.
  • The management of our CRM platform.
  • The measurement of our marketing efforts.
  • The design and distribution of our marketing collateral.
  • The design of our Trade show booth.
  • Development of NEW segments and revue channels.

Requirements include:

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field. Master’s degree in business and/or Marketing preferred

· Must be a self-starter

· Must have a professional demeanor to interact with our company and our clients.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills.

· A high level of attention to detail.

· Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

· Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

· Good organizational skills.

· Must be able to generate results.
