Lead Residential Therapist

We are seeking to hire an experienced and dedicated Residential Mental Health Therapist Lead to supervise a clinical team and provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients with psychological, emotional, and/or behavioral problems. The Therapist Lead works with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans, approaches, and interventions in a residential treatment setting.

Responsibilities:


Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, supervise, and support a team of professional therapists.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Oversee the productivity and quality of services provided by the team.

Mentorship and Development:

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to therapists to enhance their professional development.
  • Facilitate training and development opportunities for the therapy team.

Clinical Service Delivery:

  • Manage a personal caseload, providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work collaboratively with the Nursing, Residential Care, and Case Management departments to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and referring agencies to coordinate care and support for clients.

Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of therapeutic services provided by the team.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Starting Wage: Competitive salary, dependent on licensure and experience


Education and/or Experience:

Master’s degree and a license to practice in the field of competency (LCSW, LPCC, LMSW,

LPC, LAPC). Preference is given to people with years of experience in the social service field.
