Job DescriptionJob Description

 

**Duties:**

- Assist stylists and colorists in various salon tasks, including preparing clients for services, shampooing, and applying color, glosses and  treatments.

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the salon to uphold a safe and hygienic environment.

- Engage with clients to provide exceptional customer service, address inquiries, and ensure their comfort during their visit.

- Support retail sales by promoting products, assisting clients with purchases, and maintaining product displays.

- Demonstrate proficiency in salon software to schedule appointments, manage client information, and process transactions.

- Assist with other salon procedures as needed.

- Must Have Tennessee Cosmetology license.

- Contribute to the overall success of the salon by participating in mentoring programs and staying updated on industry trends.

**Qualifications:**

- Knowledge of color theory and cosmetology principles to assist with various hair treatments.

- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

- Familiarity with salon software systems for appointment scheduling and client management.

- Previous experience in retail sales within a salon setting is advantageous.

- Ability to sanitate work areas and tools following established protocols.

- Passion for the beauty industry and willingness to learn new techniques such as hair threading and barbering.
