Express Employment Professionals in Danbury is currently seeking a Handyperson. Previous experience in Warehouse Maintenance, Plant Maintenance, or Groundskeeping is preferred.

Description:

The Handyperson performs work involving maintenance or craftmanship to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and/or the structure of an establishment in good repair. The Handyperson should be able to complete the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Receive supplies into warehouse
  • Ship supplies from warehouse
  • Operate forklift, pallet jacks as required
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of vehicles, warehouse, etc
  • Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle
  • Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials
  • Deliver parts and troubleshoot equipment
  • Make repairs that may involve pipe fitting, insulating, minor welding, and machining
  • Repair electrical or mechanical equipment
  • Other duties as delegated by Warehouse/Plant Manager

​Qualifications:

  • Experience in delivery driving and warehouse operations
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Deadline-oriented
  • DOT Medical Card required
  • Valid CT Driver's License
