AV Technician

We have a huge need for Audio Visual (AV) Technicians in Sacramento, CA.
This is contract to hire position for the right candidate.
Project Details:
- Install AV equipment like TVs, speakers, intercom systems.
- Monitor audio levels, video playback, and lighting to ensure smooth performance
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise, such as sound distortion, video signal loss, or equipment malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance on AV equipment to keep it in good condition
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, requests, or complaints related to AV services
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and tailor AV solutions accordingly
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines for electrical, audio, and visual installations
Qualifications
- Pulling, running, labeling, dressing and termination of cable, including cat5, cat6, fiber, coax, AV wire, fire alarm and security & access control.
- Configure, maintain, and fix issues with data network and associated technologies
- Provide system testing and documentation
- Installing telecommunications equipment, switches, routers, building support structures, reading blueprints and coordinating with other trade contractors in an efficient manner
- Not required - Creston, Extron, CTS are all a huge plus.
- Pass a background check
