As the Scheduler/Dispatcher at The Hearth Doctor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of our service and installation crews. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling and dispatching technicians for all installation, repair, and maintenance service calls
  • Fielding incoming customer calls to book appointments and gather necessary information
  • Maintaining an up-to-date schedule and dispatch log to track technician availability and job status
  • Communicating proactively with customers to provide appointment details and arrival times
  • Coordinating with the sales and installation teams to align service scheduling with project timelines
  • Monitoring crew locations and job progress throughout the day, making adjustments as needed
  • Responding promptly to any service issues or customer concerns that arise
  • Collaborating with the operations team to identify opportunities for improved scheduling efficiencies
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a scheduling, dispatch, or customer service role, preferably in a home services or construction industry
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency with scheduling software, CRM systems, and basic office productivity tools
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make informed, timely decisions
