Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEssential Duties and :

*Crane Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of crane operators to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
*Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel involved in crane operations.
*Performance Optimization: Implement strategies to enhance crane productivity, minimize downtime, and optimize resource utilization.
*Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and training to crane operators to foster a high
-performance culture and promote skill development.
*Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance activities and ensure the availability of well
-maintained crane equipment.
*Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate crane operations to uphold quality standards and address any deviations or issues promptly.
*Customer Relationship Management: Liaise with clients to understand their requirements, address concerns, and ensure timely delivery of crane services.
*Cross Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and logistics, to schedule crane maintenance, repairs, and downtime.

Qualifications & Experience
*Associate or Bachelor's degree in Occupational/Environmental Health & Safety, Safety Science, Engineering or related discipline required
* Expertise in operating various crane types (overhead, mobile, gantry).
*10+ years of related safety experience required; 3
-5 years of maritime industry and union labor management strongly preferred
*Working knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations related to environmental/occupational, health and safety
*Safety certification credentials a plus (OSHA Ideally)
*Must have effective verbal and written English communication skills
*Ability to handle employee issues on a 24/7 schedule
*Ability to travel as needed
*Environmental (i.e., EHS) experience and interest a strong plus
*Strong interpersonal skills and judgment in communicating with staff
*Obtain and maintain TWIC credentials within 90 days of hire

Work Environment/Physical Requirements
*Will be required to walk, stand, and bend throughout the shift.
*Must be able to climb up and down ladders, stairs, and equipment.
*Adapt to climates based on outside weather conditions.
*Able to work in an environment with moving objects, and machinery.
