The Position: 

We're seeking a skilled welder with experience in MIG (solid wire and flux core) and stick welding for our steel fabrication team. In this role, you'll put your welding expertise to work, creating precise, durable, and high-quality steel components. Your attention to detail and ability to follow blueprints will be essential as you contribute to a wide range of fabrication projects. 

Work Schedule:

  • 10-hour work shift, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Perform MIG (GMAW) and stick (SMAW) welding on various gauges of steel, primarily carbon steel.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings accurately.

  • Collaborate with other team members to assemble and finish fabricated products.

  • Maintain a safe and organized work area.

  • Be willing to work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines.

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven MIG and stick welding experience.

  • Expertise in welding various steel thicknesses to exacting standards.

  • Ability to set up and troubleshoot welding equipment.

  • Strong understanding of welding safety practices.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a steel fabrication environment.

  • Experience operating cutting torches and plasma cutters.

  • Experience with other metal cutting or shaping techniques.

  • TIG (GTAW) welding experience.
