Summary:

The LV/MV Electrical Engineer is responsible for the successful delivery (budget, schedule and quality) of projects with LV/MV Electrical content. The LV Electrical Project Engineer has domain expertise in LV and MV Electrical design and is responsible for electrical design on projects.

Main Duties:

  • Promotes Safety, Quality and Lessons Learnt
  • Develops estimates for cost, schedule and resources
  • Manages and delivers EPC projects involving LV/MV Electrical and Instrumentation/Controls content
  • Technical responsibilities of a senior Electrical resource apply to this role
  • Identifies requirement for acquiring new resources
  • Assists Engineering Manager in the allocation of resources to projects
  • Supports developing process improvements such as QMS elements, standards, guides and databases
  • Represents client at technical and industry forums such as job fairs, technical networking forums etc.

Role Qualifications and Skills:

  • Engineering and Design experience in Electrical LV/MV domain required
  • PMP certification would be an advantage
  • 10 years technical experience in the design of industrial electrical transmission and distribution systems
  • 5 years project management experience
  • Strong focus on Change Management and Project Controls
  • Ability and willingness to lead a project team
  • Experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry would be an advantage
  • Customer Focused, ability to solve client problem and work independently at client site
  • Effective communications skills to enhance productivity and builds respect
  • Keen on mentoring Junior team members
  • Strong Safety behaviors to support Paton and Client Safety Cultures

  • 10-15 years’ experience in the Engineering Design Industry
