QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the General Manager, this position is responsible for the overall safety, loss control, quality, and warranty programs for the plant and staff. Must have 5 years min in construction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality

a. Maintains product standards, develops new standards as needed and evaluates material and workmanship for compliance.

b. Understands the manufacturing process and plant procedures.

c. Provides a leadership role in the training and continuing development of Production Supervisors.

d. Ensures positive relationships between the factory and the various state and third-party inspectors.

e. Oversees the timely updating of state manuals.

f. Ensures that state insignias are ordered in a timely manner, are applied to the appropriate building and reported to appropriate state agency.

g. Reviews the ongoing processes for acquiring state insignias.

h. Understands the set-up manual and can differentiate between factory and site work.

i. Comprehends what materials are needed to complete building on site such as ship loose, pack-out, etc.

j. Provides direct supervision to the Quality Control/Transportation Supervisor.

Warranty

a. Enforces our warranty standards.

b. Ensures positive relationships with both dealer and site personnel to satisfy warranty issues.

c. Uses service as a sales tool for the company when possible.

d. Provide complete and timely information about service issues to production toward improving our product.

e. Receives and schedules all service requests.

f. Coordinates and oversees all Service Technicians and sub-contractors.

g. Administers all paperwork from subcontractors, dealers, and manufacturers for service requests.

h. Keeps a log of credit card and cash expenditures for monthly reporting.

i. Oversees service vehicle records such as insurance, licensing, and registration.

j. Develops list of all sub-contractors by area.

k. Holds service solutions meetings.

Safety

a. Provides leadership and encouragement toward greater safety awareness.

b. Develops and supports training opportunities.

c. Oversees the areas of workers’ compensation, EPA, OSHA, and other agencies and ensures compliance and accurate reporting.

d. Provides direct supervision to the Safety Coordinator.

Administrative

a. Maintains team building efforts.

b. Performs other duties as assigned.

c. In some cases, this position will also fulfil one of the other job duties in the department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
