Position Purpose

Assist the manager in shipping, receiving, and improving the organization of our ever-evolving cannabis and wellness warehouse.

As a Warehouse Laborer, you will ensure shipping and customer satisfaction goals are met by picking accurate orders and assuring the package is safe and secure in a timely manner.
This labor-intensive job will be done independently and as a team in an assembly line for our specialized customers. It requires repeatedly lifting a very high volume of product cases per day, 20-25 pounds per case, during a workday.


You will also receive cross-training in our manufacturing assembly line, where you will alternate between standing and sitting while performing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks such as filling and labeling consumable goods for extended periods.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring product quality, effectively reporting issues, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 Years of Working in a Shipping or Receiving Department

  • Experience with Barcode Scanning System

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Unloading Trucks and Checking in Shipments

  • Open Skids, Crates, and Other Containers

  • Operate a Pallet Jack

  • Sort and Place Materials into Inventory According to Organizational Standards

  • Prepare Orders by Pulling Materials, Packing Boxes, and Placing Orders in the Delivery Area in a Timely Manner

  • Maintains a Safe and Clean Work Environment by Keeping Shelves, Pallet Areas, and Work Stations Neat and Ready for Tours with Potential Clients.

  • Maintain Certified Organic Logs

  • Communicate with Ownership, Department Heads, and Sales Team About Incoming and Outgoing Orders

  • Investigate and Resolve Customer Issues and Ensure Customer Satisfaction While Maintaining the Integrity of the Company

  • Ensure Compliance with Legal Guidelines and Global Organic Distro Standards and Policies

  • Follow all Company Safety Procedures, Policies, and SOPs

  • Perform Other Duties and Ad Hoc Projects as Assigned
