Deburr Technician

A Deburr Technician plays a crucial role in the manufacturing aspect of the organization. Primary responsibility is to remove burrs, clean, and/or blast metal parts produced at CNC work centers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES – other duties may be assigned

• Removes burrs from parts arriving at Deburr work center in accordance with specifications given by work order package.
• Checks daily schedule (Dispatch List) to ensure what job(s) need to complete for the day.
• Checks equipment used to remove burrs. (Drills, Sanding machines, etc.)
• May be required to clean parts and/or sandblast parts.
• Performs constant quality checks for conformance to specifications and planning documents.
•  Works under limited supervision.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Requires 1 to 3 years on-the-job machine shop experience.
• To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
• Proficient in spoken and written English

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must be able to read and interpret basic blueprint call outs.
• May be required to use measuring instruments to check specific part dimensions.
