Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified, knowledgeable IT professional to help our company develop, use, and integrate IT systems. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, developing operational and statistical reporting from our ERP system, and providing training to users to maximize the productivity value of technology in business.
An ideal candidate would possess both strong technical knowledge in relevant areas, and an aptitude for problem-solving. Good communication skills and customer-oriented manner would be necessary to succeed in this role.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Excellent communication skills with a commitment to understanding customer requirements as well as business objectives.
· Ability to provide effective, strategic advice on the use of technology to achieve shared goals.
· Commitment to supporting new technology implementation.
· Patience and ability to train users in both new and existing IT systems.
· Provide assistance with technical issues across a variety of platforms as needed.
· Problem solving skills to revise existing systems and suggest improvements.
· Produce reports utilizing Crystal Reports and MS-SQL on ad-hoc basis to meet business needs.
· Assist business users and troubleshoot problems with company’s ERP system.
· Work with 3rd party vendors to perform upgrades and resolve issues with business systems.
· Maintain secure IT environment through implementation and enforcement of necessary security tools and processes.
· Configure and maintain hardware and equipment.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
· BS/BA in computer science, IT or relevant field
· 5+ years of experience in IT related occupation
· Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues
· Experience supporting Windows 10, MS Office, Windows Server, SQL Server, Gmail, AWS, Activity Directory, Google Drive, ERP/CRM systems, and other back-office tools in a business setting
· Proficient in set up and configuration of PC hardware and software installation
· Working knowledge in database programming (MS-SQL) is a plus
· Proficient in Crystal Reporting is a plus
· Strong Excel skills
· Ability to embrace new technologies and knowledge-share with business users
· Solid interpersonal skills
