Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned paralegal fluent in Spanish to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing legal support and assistance to attorneys in various practice areas, including but not limited to Civil Litigation, Family Law, Business Law, & Estate planning amongst others.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case management, including drafting legal documents, preparing correspondence, and organizing case files.
- Conduct legal research and analysis using various resources.
- Translate legal documents, correspondence, and client communications from English to Spanish and vice versa.
- Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients, both orally and in writing.
- Assist with document review, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Proficiency in legal research and document management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with various practice areas of law, including civil litigation, & family law
- Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and maintaining confidentiality.
- Experience in family law and civil litigation
