Marathon Staffing is currently hiring a viable candidate for Nevada's largest employer.
In this position you will be inspecting desert tortoise fence for damages and creating fence damage reports.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Hiking at least four miles per day often in rough terrain and difficult weather conditions
2. Meet state and federal requirements for all species appearing on the species lists.
3. Assisting Staff with field work, conducting site inspections, inspecting tortoise crossings, plant, and wildlife surveys
4. Field work is mostly outdoors alongside highways, desert, long distance driving in company vehicle
REQUIRED SKILLS
1. Excellent computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ArcMap
2. Comfortable using mobile device, take photos, notes taking, GPS handheld unit.
3. Must pass a criminal background, have a driver’s license in good standing and pass a drug test
