Seafood and Poultry Manager

We are seeking a skilled Seafood and Poultry Manager to oversee the department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for seafood and poultry, along with exceptional culinary knowledge to provide customers with high-quality products and service.

Duties

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the seafood and poultry department
• Ensure proper handling, cutting, packaging and display of seafood and poultry products
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to replenish stock
• Train and supervise staff on seafood and poultry techniques and customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the seafood and poultry department
• Implement food safety standards and regulations
• Interact with customers to provide information on products and offer assistance

Skills

• Proficient in knife skills for cutting and preparing seafood and poultry
• Experience in a culinary or food industry setting
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of food handling, kitchen operations and food safety protocols
• Familiarity with seafood and poultry production processes in a retail or restaurant environment
