Job DescriptionJob Description

Our client, a thriving and growing, privately held Commercial and Residential client is seeking an outstanding PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT. 
This is a team environment, and the candidate will be working with 4-5 other accountants in the office.
This position will report to the CFO and Property Manager.

  • Yardi experience
  • CAM rec experience.
  • General Ledger experience.
  • Bookkeeping experience.
  • Cash management.
  • An accounting degree is highly preferred OR comparable work experience.
  • Must have TENURED experience. NO job hopper.
  • Good communication skills are required.
  • Must have a sense of urgency.
  • Must be able to adjust quickly to changing environments.
  • Ability to prepare journal entries accurately and efficiently
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends
  • Proficient in account reconciliation, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations

DUTIES

  • Manage all deliverables in a timely manner
  • Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
  • Assist in the preparation of journal entries and maintain accurate records Ensure compliance with law and regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information
  • Provide support during audits and assist with internal control processes
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
