Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation and Set-Up:

    • Check CNC machinery to ensure it is in good working order before initiating the set-up process.
    • Set up machinery according to specifications for successful production runs.

  2. Programming:

    • Conduct all necessary programming to meet job requirements.
    • Utilize knowledge of MAZATROL and G-code to optimize CNC processes.

  3. Monitoring and Quality Control:

    • Monitor the machining process throughout the cycle, ensuring that specifications are met.
    • Conduct regular quality checks to maintain high standards of precision and accuracy.

  4. Maintenance:

    • Perform all necessary machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
    • Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during production.

  5. Safety and Reporting:

    • Follow safety standards and guidelines at all times.
    • Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately.

  6. Work Area Management:

    • Keep all work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and diagrammed instructions.
  • Knowledge of MAZATROL and G-code is essential.
  • Familiarity with programming software such as Gibbs, Mastercam, and/or FeatureCAM is a plus.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
