We are in search of an Emergency Medical Technician-EMT-B + EMSVO to join our team. The role involves performing routine interfacility transfers in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.
Responsibilities:
- - Demonstrated proficiency in conducting thorough physical examinations
- - Unparalleled expertise in providing essential life support
- - In-depth familiarity with aseptic techniques for comprehensive infection prevention
- - Possession of a valid driver's license and an impeccable driving record
- - Requirement of holding EMSVO Certification
- - Advanced proficiency in medication administration
- - Proven capability to deliver high-quality care even under intense pressure
- - Ability to lift heavy objects as required with precision and care
- - Comprehensive understanding of anatomy for the effective delivery of patient care
- - Skilled in the art of triage assessment and prioritization
- - Prepare samples for routine testing and analysis.
- - Accurately record results for further analysis and easy reference.
- - Monitor inventory of samples and supplies.
- - Maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- - Previous experience as a clinical technician or in a related field.
- - Knowledge of common medical terminology.
- - Laboratory experience.
- - Excellent organizational skills.
- - Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and thorough patient assessments
- - Delivering essential life support and proficient emergency medical care
- - Adhering rigorously to aseptic techniques to ensure the utmost patient safety
- - Safely and skillfully operating emergency vehicles for the seamless transport of patients
- - Efficiently managing a diverse range of durable medical equipment (DME)
- - Administering medications with precision and in strict adherence to established protocols
- - Providing unwaveringly compassionate care, especially in high-stress scenarios
- - Executing physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting during patient transfers
- - Applying in-depth knowledge of anatomy to accurately evaluate and manage injuries
- - Expertly performing triage to determine treatment priority based on the severity of a patient's condition
