Our client is seeking an hands on, experienced and strategic HR Director to lead their Human Resources department. The HR Director will be responsible for developing and implementing HR  policies, and programs that align with business objectives and promote employee engagement, retention, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, fairness, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster their growth and development.
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and offboarding.
  • Partner with department heads and senior leadership to understand their talent needs and develop solutions to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations and stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in HR.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute workforce planning and talent management strategies to support business growth and expansion.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee satisfaction, productivity, and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification and Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations and experience ensuring compliance in a complex regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that drive business results and promote employee engagement and retention.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
