Position Summary:The purpose of this position is to assemble and build injection molding machines according to company and/or customer specifications. Desired Skills / Experiences:
  • Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
  • Pipe Fitting / Tube Fitting: 1 year (preferred)
  • Blueprint Reading: 1 year (preferred)
  • Experience working in manufacturing, assembly, production, or similar industries
  • Self-motivated, ready to work attitude
  • Works well independently and as a team member
  • Safety conscious and adheres to all company safety rules and PPE requirements
  • Attention to detail with a focus on producing high quality work
  • Willingness to take on other duties as assigned
Additional Desired Skills / Experiences:
  • Understanding of electrical systems, pneumatics/hydraulics
  • Some welding and pipe fitting experience
  • Strong mechanical background and machine building
  • Ability to read, visualize, and follow drawing, blueprints, and schematics
  • Knowledge in the use of hand tools, power equipment, and simple cutting tools
  • Ability to accurately read measuring instruments (i.e. calipers, tapes, gauges, etc.)
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple projects
Supervisory Responsibilities:None Education:High School or equivalent.Language Skills:English fluentMathematical Skills:Basic MathCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:None required but is a plus
Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting / carrying up to 50-lbs
  • Work can be strenuous, and includes walking, climbing, kneeling, crawling, squatting, pulling (such as on torque wrenches), and assembling large components
  • Material handling - obtain parts for assembly with fork life or remote operated crane using chains and lifters
  • Shop environment
Work Schedule:
  • Standard shift schedule is Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm
  • Optional overtime available (during weeks or weekends).
